After having purchased MANY self-study ACT books -- LOVE THESE! Worth the price and effort to get this! As my second child prepares to do the ACT, and prefers to do self-study vs. tutor, I wish I had found the "College Panda" series 2 years ago for my oldest child! These books offer encouragement, practical advice and smart studying! My son, who has done well on the PSAT with no study, has been obsessed with working through these Panda books! As a parent, I appreciate the book offering him quality study and holding his attention, while clearly pushing him to understand the ACT material better. The series seems to be highly engaging! I bought the ACT MATH, ENGLISH and more advanced ACT Math. All three are great!! I only wish there was a Science one too.
