The first section of the book is learning to write out the letters of the alphabet. What makes this book special to me is the next section, which asks silly riddles that a pre-school child would enjoy (even if they don’t get the answers right on the first try) and then they can practice combining the letters from earlier into key words. The last section continues asking riddles, but the child will now trace the answers. I know for myself it’s easier to learn things if I can connect it to something else that I already know. I think this works on the same premise. Not an earth shattering new way to teach, but fun for rainy afternoons, summer break or home schooling.
